Before you set up Perfect Player to work with your IPTV service, you’ll need to download and install it. At this time, Perfect Player is only available for Android devices. The instructions for installing it will vary depending on what type of Android device you have.

Here’s how to install Perfect Player on an Android phone, tablet, or TV box, as well as on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd generation Amazon Fire TV/Stick.

Android TV box, phone, or tablet

• Search for and install Perfect Player
• Search for and install Apps2Fire
• On your Amazon Fire TV device, go to settings → device → developer options. Turn on apps from unknown sources and ADB debugging
• Hit the back button to get out of developer options and back into the device menu. From there, select About
• Write down the IP address for your Amazon Fire TV device
• On your Android phone or tablet, open Apps2Fire. You’ll see a vertical list of apps in the lower portion of the screen and a horizontal menu at the top.
• Swipe to the left so that the right side of the menu can be seen. Select setup
• Type in your Amazon Fire TV’s IP address
• Swipe back to the right, revealing the left side of the menu again. Select local apps
• Select Perfect Player from the list of apps. It will install on your Fire TV within a minute or two.

Amazon Fire TV/Stick (3rd generation)

Since Apps2Fire has become popular, Amazon has moved to prevent its use. Users with newer models of Fire TV devices have found that Apps2Fire produces an error message that says, “Failed to connect to Fire TV. Is it running and is the IP address correct?” whenever they try to connect. As a result, it is not possible to use the previous method to install Perfect Player on 3rd generation Fire TV devices.

Regardless, you can still install Perfect Player on a 3rd generation Amazon Fire TV or Fire Stick. The only catch is that you need both an Android phone or tablet and a PC to do so. Here is how to install Perfect Player on a 3rd generation Amazon Fire TV/Stick:

• From your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Play Store app
• Search for and install Perfect Player
• Search for and install MyAppSharer
• Open MyAppSharer. You will see a list of applications that are installed on your Android device
• Select Perfect Player
• Tap the icon in the lower-right corner that looks like three lines with dots on the end linked together. It will take a few seconds for MyAppSharer to create an APK file for Perfect Player
• Select the method of “sharing” (with yourself) you want to use. We found that emailing the APK file to ourselves and then using a PC to download it from email worked the best. But if you can get “export to SD card” to work, it should be simpler than email
• Once you’ve got the APK file on your PC, unplug your Fire TV/Stick from the television and power outlet. Plug it into your PC using the Fire TV device’s USB cable
• Wait for Windows or Mac OSX to load a driver for the device. When it finishes, open the location of the file and drag and drop it onto the Fire TV
• Unplug the Fire TV/Stick and plug it back into the power outlet and TV
• Once your Fire TV has booted up, go to settings → device → developer options. Turn on apps from unknown sources and ADB debugging
• Search for an app called ES File Explorer. Install this app
• Load ES File Explorer. Click internal storage
• Navigate to the place where you saved the file, and click it
• When ES File Explorer asks you what to do with the file, click install. Perfect Player should install within a few seconds

How to setup IPTV on Perfect Player

Once you have Perfect Player installed, it’s time to set it up with your IPTV service. First, look through your IPTV service support documents and find the M3U URL and EPG URL. Some IPTV services do not have EPG URLs because they do not have electronic program guides. If your service is one of these, just find the M3U URL. An M3U URL is required to use Perfect Player, so if your service doesn’t provide one, you will not be able to use Perfect Player to watch its channels.

Now that you have this info, open Perfect Player. You’ll see the main control panel with play and stop buttons, etc. Move your cursor all the way to the right so that it highlights the gear icon. Click this icon to open the settings screen.

When the settings screen opens, you’ll see a list of options, including “general,” “GUI,” “playback,” and “unlock full version.” Click general to open the general settings menu.

Now click playlist (url or file path) and enter your M3U url in the box provided.

If you have more than one IPTV service, you may want to provide a name for this one so you don’t get it mixed up with others. In this case, move the cursor to Name (optional) and type in a suitable name for the service.

When you are done entering the M3U URL and (optional) name, click OK to close the dialogue box. If you have an EPG URL, click EPG (URL or file path) and enter that information, then click OK again.

Now click the back button until you are back to the Perfect Player main control panel. You should see a message that says “updating.” Wait a few seconds for your channel menu to load in Perfect Player.

Tiene un montón de canales temáticos que emiten contenido de todo tipo, desde comedia, ciencia-ficción, cocina, cine, series, MTV y mucho más.

El número de canales cambia de un país a otro, dependiendo de las licencias. Así, en España actualmente hay algo más de 120 canales, aunque los canales son completamente diferentes si vivimos en EEUU o en México, por poner un ejemplo. También ofrece contenido a la carta, todo ello gratis y sin registro.

Photocall TV

Si configurar listas IPTV en KODI te parece demasiado complicado también puedes probar a hacer lo mismo con el reproductor VLC en el PC. Si aún así no quieres meterte en este tipo de berenjenales siempre puedes acceder a una página como Photocall TV. Se trata de un portal donde tenemos listadas todas las televisiones de la TDT española que emiten en abierto, así como cientos de canales internacionales y emisoras de radio.

Para cada canal que aparece en la lista se nos mostrará todas las fuentes oficiales que están disponibles para ver su emisión en directo desde el navegador. Muy práctico y extremadamente fácil de usar.

ZATTOO

Debido a su oferta y calidad de contenido ZATTOO es considerado por muchos el mejor servicio IPTV legal y gratis de Europa. Cuenta con más de 200 canales de TV de países como UK, Irlanda, España, Francia, Alemania, Portugal, Turquía y tantos otros. ¿Dónde está la pega, entonces? Pues que por ahora solo está disponible para usuarios geolocalizados en Suiza, Austria o Alemania. Lo que significa que tendremos que tirar de VPN si navegamos desde fuera de estas fronteras.

Por lo demás, también cuenta con servicio de suscripción de pago. Si nos abonamos por unos 10 euros al mes, tendremos acceso a unos 70 canales de televisión adicionales en HD, además de los 200 que ya vienen de serie en su versión gratuita.

PLEX

Conocido durante años como uno de los mejores reproductores y transmisores de contenido en remoto vía DLNA, PLEX se ha sumado también a la emisión de TV en directo.

Cuenta con más de 80 canales temáticos, como Yahoo Finance, Fail Army, Drink TV, Made in Hollywood, Law Crime, IGN, Latido Music y muchos otros. Para acceder a todo este contenido solo tenemos que instalar la aplicación de PLEX o acceder a su página web y entrar en la sección «TV en directo».

BBC iPlayer

La mayoría de canales británicos emiten también en streaming. Algo que nos puede venir de perlas para ver la TV inglesa y ponernos al día con los capítulos viejos de sus series bajo demanda como Dr. Who o sus retransmisiones deportivas.

El reproductor iPlayer de la BBC es el más conocido de todos, tanto por la calidad de su app como por su contenido. Eso sí, solo está disponible en suelo británico, lo que significa que tendremos que usar una VPN si estamos en el extranjero.

Samsung TV Plus

Si tienes un móvil Samsung Galaxy S10, Samsung Galaxy Note 10, Samsung Galaxy S20 o Samsung Galaxy Note 20 estás de suerte. Samsung TV Plus es el servicio de televisión online en directo que ofrecía la marca surcoreana en sus Smart TV, y que desde el 2020 también está disponible en los mencionados smartphones.

El servicio cuenta con más de 120 canales en vivo con emisiones ininterrumpidas de series, películas, música y mucho más. Recientemente también han estrenado un canal de noticias cortas llamado CNN Fast. Para poder acceder es necesario instalar la app desde la Play Store o tener un televisor Samsung (viene instalado de serie).

TV Player

TV Player es otro conocido proveedor IPTV de Reino Unido. El servicio ofrece cobertura para ver los siguientes canales de televisión en vivo por Internet: BBC One, BBC Two, ITV, Channel Four, Channel Five, Dave, 4, CBBC, BBC News, Food Network, Fashion TV, Travel Channel, y otros tantos. Todo ello de manera legal y gratuita.

Si contratamos la suscripción mensual de 9.99 libras al mes, también tendremos acceso a otros canales de TV de pago como ITV 2, 3 y 4, Comedy Central, E!, Eurosport, The History Channel, y National Geographic.

En los últimos meses la app se ha «reinventado» ofreciendo también sus servicios fuera de suelo británico, pero bajo un modelo premium. Así, si vivimos en España, por ejemplo, podemos suscribirnos por 7,99 euros al mes y tener acceso a canales exclusivos como Misterio TV, El Tablao y una veintena de canales más.

Rakuten TV

Rakuten cuenta con una app de TV en directo y a la carta con más de 80 canales temáticos. Está disponible vía web a través del navegador, así como en formato app para móviles y Smart TVs.

A nivel de contenido es una de las plataformas más interesantes para ver la TV a través de Internet, ya que además de contar con contenido exclusivo, la calidad media de su programación es bastante más apetecible que la de otras apps similares.

Lista IPTV para ver gratis más de 7.000 canales de televisión

En los últimos años, hemos sido testigos de cómo ha ido creciendo el IPTV y lo mejor de todo es que, no parece parar de crear. Ya sea en sus versiones legales como en aquellas ilegales. El hecho de poder consumir contenido en multitud de canales y desde diferentes dispositivos, lo cierto es que es bastante cómodo. Como es el caso que OS traemos hoy, una opción que nos ofrece más de 7.000 canales de televisión y totalmente gratis.

En esta ocasión, OS traemos una opción totalmente gratuita con la que podremos ver miles de canales de televisión. A través de una página de GitHub nos encontramos con una alternativa que nos dejará disfrutar de canales de todo el mundo. Además, también cuenta con diferentes categorías por si preferimos una temática en concreto.

Durante un tiempo estuvo fuera de servicio, concretamente casi un mes, pero, por suerte, ha vuelto a estar operativa. Por lo que podemos seguir teniendo la opción de ver gratis más de 7.500 canales de TV a través de esta lista IPTV sin pagar ni un solo euro al mes.

Más de 7.000 canales de televisión

Concretamente, estamos ante una alternativa que recopila más de 7.000 canales disponibles de televisión de todo el mundo. Es decir, de una gran parte de los países. Para ser exactos, tendremos la posibilidad de tener acceso a un total de 7.531 canales de todo el mundo. Aunque, lo mejor de esta colección de canales de IPTV es que no tendremos que pagar nada por llegar a tener estos canales. Solamente tendremos que saber cómo añadir la lista a un reproductor para empezar a ver los canales de televisión gratis de todo el mundo.

Además, otro de sus puntos fuertes es que será fácil llegar a utilizar esta opción. Tan solo necesitaremos tener instalado uno de los muchos reproductores que existen para poder llegar a reproducir contenido IPTV, ya sea en un ordenador Windows o en un móvil. Y no solo contamos con una única lista de reproducción, sino que se agrupan en diferentes categorías para que podamos escoger libremente. Por tanto, para comenzar a disfrutar de estos canales, será tan sencillo como abrir el reproductor de vídeo que nos permita ver contenido IPTV, pegar el enlace donde corresponda (será diferente dependiendo del reproductor) y tocar en Abrir o Reproducir.

Que haya canales o códigos IPTV para siempre es complicado. Algunos países aplican restricciones para eliminar este tipo de contenido. Por eso, hay códigos que en España no están disponibles. Además, el contenido que se ve en estos canales puede tener derechos de autor, que si se descubre que se hace sin autorización podrían bloquearlos.

No son pocas las veces que algunas autoridades emprenden acciones legales contra los canales IPTV por facilitar el acceso a contenido protegido por derechos de autor. Por ese motivo, muchos desaparecen en poco tiempo y pueden volver a no estar disponibles.

Sin embargo, no solo nos encontraremos con dos listas IPTV generales, una con y sin los canales de adultos, sino que también nos encontramos otras divisiones para que podamos acceder rápidamente al contenido televisivo que nos interese. Por ejemplo, nos encontraremos las listas de reproducción que están ordenadas por Categoría. En esta pestaña, veremos comedia, niños, entretenimiento, música, series… Y mucho más.

Aunque, no será la única división que encontramos. Ya que, dependiendo del idioma que queramos, también encontraremos una lista de reproducción en la que, incluso, nos indicará el número de canales de televisión que tendremos disponibles de manera totalmente a través de estas listas de IPTV gratis.

Y, por último, nos encontraremos que también estarán ordenadas las listas por región. Nosotros la hemos probado y funciona muy bien, por lo que tan solo habrá que añadir la lista que nos interese para comenzar a ver los distintos canales de televisión que nos ofrece.

Ver solo los canales IPTV de España

En la propia web de Github donde se almacena el proyecto podemos ver un apartado que se denomina «Grouped by country». Ahí podemos buscar las listas filtradas por países. Basta con desplegar esa sección pulsando sobre «Expand» y se nos abrirá un listado con todos los países disponibles. Basta con copiar la URL del país en cuestión para importarla a VLC o cualquier otro reproductor.
