Xiaomi has been enjoying its top position in India when it comes to the smartphone shipments market share. The company has great success in the Indian market largely due to its Redmi smartphones. But the company has been trying hard to break out of that ‘budget phone maker’ bubble for a long time. And with the launch of both the Mi 10 and the Mi10T series, we think the company has done a great job of accomplishing that.

With the Mi10T Pro 5G, I wanted to see if the company is really capable of breaking into the flagship market in India. Well, I’ve been using the Mi10T Pro 5G as my primary phone for a month now and I think I am ready to put my money on Xiaomi’s flagship phones. Read my full review below to know exactly what I like about the Xiaomi Mi10T Pro.

Design Build Quality

© MensXP/Karthik Iyer

Like most people, my expectations from a flagship phone are fairly straightforward. I want the phone to look premium so that people know I am using a flagship device, and I want a solid in-hand feel that, you know, makes me enjoy using it more often. And the Mi10T Pro fits the boat very well, at least for me.

It may not look like the most sophisticated phone on the market, especially with the amount of smudges and fingerprints it attracts, but it looks very premium with that glass sandwich design. It fits nicely in hand, thanks to the curved edges at the back.

© MensXP/Karthik Iyer

On the right, the Mi10T Pro sports a capacitive fingerprint scanner that doubles as a power button. Above that, you’ll have the volume rockers as well. The left side of the phone is completely bare. On the top, you’ll find a speaker port, IR blaster, and a microphone whereas, on the bottom, you’ll see a speaker, microphone, a USB-C port, and the dual SIM card tray.

If there’s one thing that I don’t like about the Mi10T Pro design, then it’s got to be the camera module. specifically how much it protrudes from the body itself. I am not a huge fan of using phone cases but it forces me to use a case to protect the module. I also don’t like the fact the Mi10T Pro doesn’t have an IP rating, but it’s not a huge deal-breaker for me and it helps keep the cost of the phone as low as possible.

Overall, I absolutely love the design and the build quality of the Mi10T Pro. It looks elegant and has a premium in-hand feel. I think this is also a good time to mention how crisp the Mi10T Pro’s haptics are. It adds to an already premium feel of the phone and makes me want to use it more. Good job, Xiaomi.

Display

The Mi10T Pro sports a 6.67-inch IPS LCD on the front and it supports up to 144Hz refresh rate. It feels super responsive and you’ll immediately notice the difference and appreciate it if you’re coming from a regular 60Hz panel. Xiaomi has also included AdaptiveSync technology with which the display dynamically switches between refresh rates depending on the on-screen content.

© MensXP/Karthik Iyer

The AdaptiveSync technology isn’t something revolutionary or unheard of. A lot of us use gaming monitors that support this technology as it eliminates tearing and stuttering. But in all fairness, the Mi10T Pro is the first smartphone to have it and I am happy to see it here.

Thanks to AdaptiveSync tech, the display doesn’t always have to run at 144Hz at all times and it can dynamically switch to save battery. I’d say it’s an absolute banger of a feature and it acts as a catalyst to save more battery in addition to the power saving features that are built into the phone.

Speaking of the display itself, I think it’s one of the best LCD panels I’ve ever used. It’s probably not as good as the OLED on the Mi 10 but it’s got likable color contrast, great viewing angles and it gets adequately bright as well. The panel also supports HDR10, making it great to watch movies and TV shows. Overall, I really like the display of the Mi10T Pro and I couldn’t find anything to complain about.

Performance

As expected from a good flagship phone in 2020, the Mi10T Pro is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC along with 8GB RAM and a Rapid UFS 3.1 storage. I can confidently say that the phone will breeze through most of the day-to-day tasks without a hiccup. The user experience is also very smooth and the faster storage helps with loading times, be it for an app or while gaming.

© MensXP/Karthik Iyer

Part of the reason why I had such a smooth experience while using the phone also has to do with the MIUI software. It’s still a heavily-skinned UI but it’s not going to hinder your experience. In fact, most of the UI changes from the stock Android experience are very useful and a pleasure to use. MIUI has come a long way from what it used to be back in the days.

It’s a great experience and the performance of the Mi10T Pro is rock solid. Add a high refresh rate panel to that and you get a phone that feels faster than it actually is and it’s great.

Camera

The Mi10T Pro sports a promising set of sensors at the back to fulfill your camera needs. It retains the 108MP f/1.7, 26mm, 1/1.33-inch from the Mi 10, and there’s a 13MP ultrawide camera with 123-degree FOV and a 5MP macro sensor.

The images taken from the main 108MP sensor, as expected, looks great. In fact, I was able to take some phenomenal images with minimal effort. The photos have accurate colors, balance contrast and they look quite sharp. I’d say the photos have great details in good lighting conditions.

mi10t, review, phone, makes, want

© MensXP/Karthik Iyer

In darker situations, however, the sensor struggles a bit. I noticed that it either struggles to pick up details in shadows or it messed up the exposure when there are multiple light sources in the frame at night. It’s not really bad but the photos can certainly look better. You can check out the samples below to see exactly what I am talking about.

The Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro is undeniably mighty but lacks refinement

Digital Camera World Verdict

The Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro 5G is a big, beefy phone which instantly makes it niche. If you want a lot of phone for your money, it delivers though. For starters, there’s that huge screen with its 144Hz refresh rate, not to mention a lot of power. a gaming dreaming. The 108MP main camera also grabs photos rich in detail, and its macro camera is a real treat. It isn’t all great though. Its camera is occasionally clumsy with blowing out highlights, its UI occasionally glitches, and its sheer heft is… well, hefty. With all that power and such a rich feature-set, the Mi 10T Pro is still a great phone. it just won’t be for everyone.

Cons

Why you can trust Digital Camera World

Our expert reviewers spend hours testing and comparing products and services so you can choose the best for you. Find out how we test.

Xiaomi’s Mi 9T Pro was probably the best budget camera phone of 2019. It was elegant, refined, powerful, and its cameras seriously impressed for the price. A year on, and its successor, the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro is shaking things up, adding size, megapixels, and a silky smooth 144Hz screen to the Mi Mix.

That 144Hz refresh rate makes the Mi 10T Pro’s 6.67-inch screen the smoothest smartphone on the scene. The phone also packs plenty of power, stacks of storage, and a big battery with fast charging. This all sounds very expensive, but it isn’t in the grand scheme of things.

The best Xiaomi phone guide

While there’s no US release confirmed, you can now buy the 10T Pro now in Europe from Amazon and others, or from networks including Three and Vodafone from Nov 6th in the UK.

Once you start using the Mi 10T Pro, it’s clear that there have been clear compromises made to hit the phone’s price. For starters, there’s a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. There’s also no OLED screen here, it’s an IPS panel, and finally; no telephoto camera.

With stiff competition at the price from OnePlus and Samsung, can Xiaomi latest Mi really compete?

Design and screen

Combining a metal frame with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 covering the front, back, and camera, the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro phone feels solid, and this is only reinforced by its 9.33mm thickness and 218g weight.

Design highlights include a serious camera bump around the back. It feels somewhat overkill, considering there are only three cameras on here, and none sport an optical zoom. That said, if we know anything about Samsung’s 108MP camera module, it’s that it’s a chunky unit, as evidenced by the bumps on the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and the Galaxy S20 Ultra.

Available in Cosmic Black, Lunar Silver, Aurora Blue, the Mi 10T Pro shirks the frosted glass finish that most premium phone makers are adopting these days in favor of traditional, high-gloss, fingerprint loving glass.

The phone’s 6.67-inch, 144Hz screen sports a 2400 x 1080 resolution. There’s a tiny punch-hole selfie camera in the top left and a small bezel around all four sides.

While it’s the smoothest phone on the block thanks to that class-leading screen refresh rate, its display quality isn’t the best out there. To achieve those high scrolling speeds, Xiaomi has forgone the deep, inky OLEDs it packed into last year’s Mi 9T in favor of an IPS screen. It’s a very good IPS screen loaded up with HDR10, 650nit peak brightness, and decent calibration. That said, we’d still drop the refresh rate to 90Hz if it meant we’d get a zingy OLED in its place.

Cameras

The Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro 5G’s main camera module features a 108MP ultra-high-resolution sensor. At 1/1.33-inches and with a 1.6μm 4-in-1 pixel size, it’s an impressively specced smartphone, with Xiaomi claiming up to a 30x digital zoom. There’s also an f/1.69, seven-element lens, complete with OIS and AF.

With a 123° 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera, the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro can’t get as wide as Samsung’s flagships, but it’s still going to save you taking a few steps back. The module combines 1.12μm pixels with an f/2.4 aperture and five lens elements.

Rather than a typical optical zoom option as the third camera, there’s a 5MP macro camera on the Mi 10T Pro. Unlike virtually every macro camera we’ve tested on smartphones, this one doesn’t feel like an afterthought. With 1.12μm pixels, an f/2.4, three-element lens, and autofocus with a focal range from 2cm to 10cm, it’s a welcome addition to the mix.

Finally, on the front of the phone is a 20MP selfie camera, featuring a Samsung S5K3T2 sensor. This downsamples pictures to 5MP to create a 1.6μm equivalent pixel size, which combines with the f/2.2, five-element lens to make a super-sampling selfie shooter.

When it comes to modes, there are plenty to sink your teeth into. The Pro mode offers up to a 32-second shutter speed, and you can manually ramp up the ISO to 6400. Other modes include Panorama, Night, Portrait, 108M, Short Video, and Slow Motion.

Camera performance

The detail captured by the Mi 10T Pro is unsurprisingly excellent. The 108MP resolution isn’t an empty accolade, it translates to photos that look beautifully crisp in well-lit scenes. They are taken at 25MP resolution by default and can comfortably be cropped into, however, if you feel confident in the lighting, you can even shoot at the sensor’s maximum 108MP. This resolution also compensates for the lack of optical zoom, with a digital zoom of up to 8x looking just about usable outdoors or in well-lit scenes.

mi10t, review, phone, makes, want

Color and saturation can be very hit or miss. On the one hand, we love the fact Xiaomi is so much more conservative with its saturation than Samsung. the Mi 10T Pro’s photos can comfortably take a fair bit of editing owing to the fact they aren’t processed to death. That said, they can also look a touch anemic.

Dynamic range is great when the lighting is abundant but is massively hampered indoors. The phone’s default spot-metering is all too happy to blow out a background or darken the foreground to the point of no return, even with HDR on. This is something most midrange to premium phones are getting right these days, so it’s a real shame the Mi 10T Pro struggles here.

Noise handling is impressive given the camera’s resolution, and the night mode opens up the phone to a world of after-hours photography which is great. As with most night modes, it’s still bested by Apple, Google, and Apple’s, but it performs well nonetheless, especially when shooting static objects.

In a turn for the books, we actually don’t miss the telephoto camera all too much, owing to the fact the Mi 10T Pro’s digital zoom is decent, and that Macro camera is best-in-class. It performs respectably in middling to good light, has autofocus, and isn’t a paltry 2MP like so many others. Instead, with its 5MP resolution, it grabs useful, sharp, depth-packed shots that truly add something to the Mi 10T Pro’s photography toolkit.

The Mi 10T Pro’s selfie camera is also impressive, with no harsh beauty modes active by default. Selfies look crisp, but at the same time, flattering, and while it sports a fixed FOCUS lens, it can still grab respectable portrait mode photos.

Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro 5G: Additional specs

Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 paired with 8GB RAM, the Mi 10T Pro is fast. It runs Android 10 with Xiaomi’s MIUI 12 over the top, and everything glides — until it glitches that is. We experienced two glitch-outs, with the Apple-a-like control center (a pull-down quick toggles menu) freezing over all other apps, and another glitch resulting text not displaying in an app.

Xiaomi’s UIs have always been heavy, and while the Mi 10T Pro’s is improved in certain respects (no third-party ads within the UI — hurrah!), it still feels like you’re wading through treacle at times.

With 256GB storage, there’s plenty of space for all your files, photos, apps, and games. There’s a 128GB version available in certain regions too, however that hasn’t been confirmed for a UK launch.

Rounding off with the 5000mAh battery, and the Mi 10T Pro easily makes it through a full day of even pretty heavy use, and if you do happen to run short, the 33W wired fast charge powers it up in around an hour.

Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro 5G: Verdict

For a phone of its price, the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro 5G is perfect for power users.

It combines a mighty 108MP ultra-high resolution camera with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 power, a big 6.67-inch, 144Hz screen, and a 5000mAh battery. It isn’t the most refined camera phone, and it doesn’t sport a flawless interface either. That said, with plenty of flourishes, from that macro camera through to the phone’s silky smooth refresh rate, if you need a huge amount of storage, love big phones, shoot a lot of macro photography and play games on the go, the Mi 10T Pro could be a dream come true.

Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro 5G Review

Time and time again, Xiaomi never ceases to stun us every time they release an affordable flagship smartphone. No wonder why they’re a crowd favorite. With the recent release of the Mi 10T lineup in the country, we’ve spent much time with its Pro version, the Mi 10T Pro 5G. Let’s see what it’s all about.

Design and Construction

As we previously mentioned in our hands-on, the Mi 10T Pro 5G is one premium smartphone, both externally and internally. It’s built with a glass back topped with a ceramic-like sheen clad in an aluminum frame. Apparently, the device is prone to fingerprints and smudges, so it’s cool that Xiaomi provided a case with the retail unit.

We want to note something we missed to mention in our hands-on that the screen protector and the case included in the box are anti-bacterial. The company claims that the case eliminates more than 99% of bacteria after 24 hours of contact. Timely indeed, Xiaomi.

The device is also slippery in the hands, but we like that it comes with quite a heft at 218g, giving you that impression of a flagship feel. Its back and front are protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5, so rest assured that this device is tough as heck.

Found here at the back are its protruding triple rear cameras with that mini 108MP camera label located underneath the primary lens and the Xiaomi branding and 5G logo.

Located at the top left corner of the screen, we’ll find the dot notch that houses the front camera, the call speaker, and the tiny LED notification light.

The top part houses the IR blaster and a pair of noise-canceling microphones.

We have the volume keys on the left side, the power button that also functions as the fingerprint scanner, and the antenna bands. Nothing can be found on the right side.

Underneath, we’ll find the primary microphone, the speaker grille, the USB Type-C port, and the SIM card slot that can accommodate two nano-SIM cards. No microSD slot and 3.5mm audio port in here.

Display and Multimedia

The Mi 10T Pro 5G sports a huge 6.67-inch FHD DotDisplay with support for HDR10 and 144Hz refresh rate with Adaptive Sync. Although utilizing an AMOLED or OLED panel would be a cherry on top, the IPS panel didn’t disappoint. The screen still looks great if you’re not too nitpicky. The colors look vibrant and punchy. Details are also very sharp.

The 144Hz refresh rate is buttery smooth and responsive. It truly is a feast for the eyes. If you want to consume less battery, we suggest that you lower the refresh rate to 90Hz, which is also equally butter. You may again go back to 60Hz, but would you? There’s also an option to adjust the color scheme and color temperature, and if you don’t like seeing that dot notch, you have the options to hide it.

Audio-wise, the sound quality is good but not too impressive. Indeed, it does get loud and clear and comes with an ample amount of bass, but the voice tends to overpower the instrumentals most of the time. It also sounds a teeny bit muffled sometimes.

You can tweak the settings more on the audio as it comes with a nifty feature that lets you pick sound effect presets. We usually use the Smart preset as it adapts to whatever we’re watching or listening to. There’s also a feature that enables you to play music with visual effects, even when you turn off the screen, and we think it’s cool.

Another feature we like and found useful is the equalizer and the ability to customize the volume based on your auditory perception when listening with your earphones/headphones.

Camera

The Mi 10T Pro comes with a triple camera setup consisting of a 108MP f/1.7 main camera, 13MP f/2.4 ultra-wide, and 5MP f/2.4 macro. It also comes with a 30x digital zoom. While for selfies, we get a 20MP f/2.2.

For camera features alone, you’d get tons of it. There’s Pro, HDR, Portrait, Google Lens, Portrait, and Movie Frame, to name a few. You can even customize the Camera’s interface’s colors and layout and save images in HEIF or high-efficiency image file format, which is nifty.

Images produced on the rear cameras are excellent, but it’s not perfect. You get a wide dynamic range with a significant number of details. We like that the color reproduction didn’t come out too saturated, even though we used its AI feature to give us more control over post-processing. Other than that, the shots look crisp and clear, though, as you can see, some of them tend to lose shadow, especially when shooting in a backlit environment. The same can be said for the ultra-wide-angle lens. Macro shots also look clear, though there’s a little distortion going on.

The 30X digital zoom is a fun feature to have, but shots are, more often than not, plainly unusable. They look washed-out and soft, and you’d barely see any details. We think that Huawei still holds the crown for having the best camera smartphone zoom.

The 108MP lens, on the other hand, produce crisp photos. However, if you’re going to ask us if it’s a gimmick, we think it is– unless you’re very detail-oriented. Indeed, it does preserve a lot of details, especially when you zoom in. That’s where you see its magic. That’s pretty much it. Nonetheless, it’s still a great feature to have and would probably be useful if you’re going to print your photos in a huge tarpaulin or whatnot. We think that no matter how much you increase the camera resolution, it doesn’t guarantee that it would look as crisp and clear once it’s uploaded to your social media.

For the lowlight shots, they’re subpar. The lights look blown-out most of the time, and it’s noisy even with the Night mode on. We hope that this can be improved with software updates.

Selfies, on the other hand, look great. The natural skin tone is retained, and we like that it doesn’t go overboard with the beauty mode on. The portrait mode also has an excellent background to subject separation, and you could even play with the aperture and blur style afterward.

Now for video, it can shoot up to 8K 24fps and 4K 60fps for the rear camera, and 1080p 30fps for the front camera. The 8K video quality is impressive and comes with a tremendous dynamic range. Most users would appreciate it once they view it on a 4K/1080p display. However, you cannot use the ultra-wide lens and the Ultra Steady mode while shooting in 8K.

The 4K video quality is excellent as well, and you can use the ultra-wide lens on this one. The Ultra Steady mode, unfortunately, only works at 1080p.

over, it comes with tons of vlog-centric features. It comes with a Vlog feature that helps you create cool videos with slick transitions. It also comes with a quirky front and back feature. It’s quite similar to Nokia’s bothie feature that uses a split-screen format to capture photos or videos through the device’s front and rear camera simultaneously. But with this one, you can change the position while recording. You may also add a movie frame to make your clips look cinematic. We’re sure that many content creators would love the video offerings of this phone.

OS, UI, and Apps

Running this device is MIUI 12.0.3, based on Android 10. Apart from the OxygenOS from OnePlus, MIUI is also one of our favorite skins as it almost looks close to stock Android. We like that it didn’t come with bloatware. We only get a couple of Xiaomi proprietary apps, as well as some from Google.

When using the dark mode, we noticed that it doesn’t look seamless with apps like Discord, where you can still see the image’s white background. We also noticed this while using the Messenger app. We think that it’s just a minor bug, but we believe it’s worth mentioning. The device also has good haptic feedback, and there’s an option to adjust its level depending on your liking.

For other features, it comes with a Video Toolbox, Floating window to conveniently view notifs, Second Space, and Lite Mode for less visual clutter. Out of the 128GB internal storage, we get a usable 111GB storage.

Performance and Benchmarks

When it comes to internals, the Mi 10T Pro uses the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chip coupled with Adreno 650 GPU, 8GB RAM, and 128GB ROM. The performance is outstanding. Launching and loading apps are lightning-fast and are further accentuated with the 144Hz refresh rate.

We played PUBG Mobile and Genshin Impact at 144Hz with the highest possible setting, and we experienced no hiccups or frame drops at all. The phone noticeably gets hot, particularly on the camera section, after a long period but not to the extent that it’ll burn your hands or would cause an alarm. We also noticed that it even cools down quite quickly, which is good.

AnTuTu v8 – 574,145 Geekbench 5 – 896 (Single-core), 3,366 (Multi-core) 3D Mark – 3,787 (Wild Life) PCMark – 9,868 (Work 2.0) AndroBench – 1640.86 MB/s (Read), 722.72 MB/s (Write) Sling Shot Extreme test keeps on crashing.

It also comes with the Game Turbo feature to improve your gaming experience. You can access this by swiping the upper corner of the screen, and it’ll show you various options such as the FPS count, CPU and GPU consumption, screen record, floating Windows for when you want to chat while playing, screencast, and many more.

The fingerprint scanner and face recognition work instantaneously; however, face recognition doesn’t work in a pitch-black environment unless you set your phone’s brightness to maximum. It’s interesting to see that it works even if you’re wearing a mask.

Connectivity and Battery Life

The Mi 10T Pro comes with the usual connectivity features, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, dual nano-SIM, NFC, and IR blaster. As its name suggests, it’s 5G-ready, but connectivity will vary based on the availability of 5G in your area.

Powering up the Mi 10T Pro is a 5,000mAh battery. Most of the time, we use the 90Hz, only bumping up to 144Hz when playing games, and the device can last us a whole day, only charging it at night. It supports a 33W wired fast charge. Charging the device took around an hour and 20 minutes from 0% to 100%. Unfortunately, it has no support for wireless charging.

In the PCMark battery test, the device got a score of 19 hours and 31 minutes, while our standard video loop test yielded 22 hours and 15 minutes of playback, which is not bad at all.

Conclusion

Xiaomi is breaking the norm by continually and consistently manufacturing smartphones with flagship specs that you can get for less. With the Mi 10T Pro 5G, you’re genuinely getting more for less.

For 24,990 (8GB 256GB), the Mi 10T Pro 5G is definitely a steal. You’re already getting a 144Hz refresh rate display, a powerful processor, impressive photo and video quality with tons of features, and great battery life. Plus, it’s 5G-ready. So if you want to own your first affordable flagship 5G device, the Mi 10T Pro 5G is the best choice.

Xiaomi Mi 10T series: All you need to know about the budget flagships from 2020

The Xiaomi Mi 10T series is now over three years old. If you’re still looking to pick up the 2020 flagships, you don’t mind older hardware and software. The upside is that the phones in the lineup are now extremely affordable. Plus, unlike the Mi 9T lineup that consisted of rehashed Redmi phones, the Mi 10T phones are more premium and in line with the Mi 10 line. Of course, they now have successors in the form of the Xiaomi 11T, 11T Pro, 12T, and 12T Pro. However, the Mi 10T phones are still in circulation and offer a lot to be desired, including heavily reduced prices.

All the Mi 10T phones of them bring 5G connectivity and flagship-grade hardware from the year they were launched in. You’ll have to make some compromises, of course. Here’s everything you need to know about the Xiaomi Mi 10T series.

Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro, Mi 10T, and Mi 10T Lite: At a glance

The affordable high-end flagship series from Xiaomi, which was announced on September 30, 2020, consists of the Mi 10T Lite, the standard Mi 10T, and the Mi 10T Pro. The Lite model is the most affordable, while the Pro model nets the highest configuration among the three. Overall, the trio is designed to offer premium flagship specs at that don’t burn a hole in your

The Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chip, while the Mi 10T Lite was the first phone to house the Snapdragon 750G SoC. They all offer high refresh rate screens (up to 144Hz), large batteries, and the latest MIUI 12 software. Read on for a detailed specs overview.

Are the Xiaomi Mi 10T phones worth buying?

The Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro belong to a crowded, yet fast-fading field of affordable Snapdragon 865 flagships. When they launched, they touted the highest display refresh rate of the lot, the Mi 10T Pro also slotted above the competition in terms of main camera resolution, and both phones were priced the same or are cheaper than the competition. Of course, now you also have many Snapdragon 870- and Snapdragon 888-powered devices that can compete with the Mi 10T phones in terms of specs and pricing.

The Mi 10T series misses out on premium features like wireless charging, and Xiaomi opts for an LCD screen over OLED. You also won’t get a telephoto lens with the 10T devices, which some phones in this price range offer.

The Mi 10T Lite, on the other hand, takes on the competition in the upper mid-range category. Xiaomi’s penchant for aggressive pricing shines through here as well, with the phone undercutting many rival devices.

Unfortunately, availability is an issue, since Xiaomi doesn’t officially sell the phones in the US. You can, however, get your hands on some of them through Amazon and of course, they are available across select markets in Europe and Asia.

What the experts are saying about the Xiaomi Mi 10T series

Android Authority reviewed the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro, and at the time, we were impressed with its speed and fluidity. Our reviewer found the phone to be a tad too large and heavy and said that the design was quite common in 2020. The 144Hz refresh rate is a huge selling point, making for a super responsive and smooth experience. To this date, it’s one of the highest display refresh rates you can get on a phone belonging to that affordable price category. The performance and battery life of the phone also proved to be impressive when we reviewed it.

importantly, the Mi 10T Pro offers a lot of bang for your buck. Xiaomi foregoes flagship features like wireless charging and water resistance but makes up for it with the display refresh rate, a 108MP primary shooter, and the high-end processing package. He says that it is great to have a solid, relatively affordable option in a year in which the of true flagships continue to skyrocket.

Since Android Authority hasn’t done a review of the Mi 10T Lite, we turn to Tech Radar’s Andrew Williams for his take on the phone. He appreciates the fact that this phone offers affordable access to 5G and that the phone feels far more premium than its price point would suggest. It’s not perfect, though. He says that the camera feels sluggish at times, and it doesn’t offer the best gaming performance in its price range.
