How To Set Any Song As Ringtone On Samsung Galaxy

If you want a certain song or music file as your own personalized ringtone, you can set it as ringtone in your Samsung device easily. While this feature is not new anymore, not many Samsung users know it. Most users stick to boring Samsung-provided ringtones not knowing that they’re just a few taps away from making their experience richer.

Aside from default ringtones in your Samsung Galaxy device, you can add a music file like an MP3 to your device as a general ringtone. You just have to make sure that you copy the music files to your Samsung device first.

The feature covered in this tutorial does not support using tracks from music you play using streaming apps like Pandora or Spotify though. Streaming sites have limited terms and conditions that prevents their music from being saved locally in a phone or tablet permanently.

For Spotify, while you can download certain songs to your phone, you won’t still be able to use them as ringtone as they expire after some time.

If you want, you can purchase a particular song or album so you can have a license to download it to your device permanently. Once you have the file saved to your device, you can then start using it as a ringtone.
